About me!

Hello! I realized I don't have very much on either of my blogs about me, so I figured, why not, right? This is all about yours truly c:

I was given the name Emily Jordan, way back on April 24, 1994 (making me 19 and a Taurus). I was the first child to my parents so they were super happy when I popped out! Our family began in a small town in Southern New Jersey, USA. Our life was quiet and peaceful, and I was all alone until my brother was born two years later (now 17) and my sister 6 years later (now almost 13).

I was always described as a very sensitive child...ever since I was a baby if people laughed at me too much I would start to cry! Things made me nervous very easily and I didn't talk at all around strangers. From 2nd grade to 12th I hardly talked to anyone, which explains why I didn't have very many friends. Regardless, I still think I had the best childhood I could of had, and there isn't a single day that passes where I don't want to relive it.

My high school years were pretty bad, honestly. I was bullied by a couple of boys to the point of leaving school during my freshman year which seemed to spark up an "anxiety disorder" and was put on lots of medication. The summer of 2009 I was put into an outpatient hospital program and my anxiety got so severe that I had a hard time leaving my bedroom. Because of that, I couldn't hang out with my friends so I was left behind a little. Freshman-Junior year I was in and out of school, doing homeschooling when I wasn't there.

In May of 2011 my family moved down to Northern Florida for my mom's new job. This meant I would be starting off my senior year in a whole new school (yes, IN school!) in a whole new town in a whole new state. I was pretty upset that I wouldn't spend my last year of school with my friends, but it did turn out more than okay because I met someone who is the most special to me - my boyfriend. 

I was so shy around my boyfriend, Michael, at first but he never gave up no matter what. I even turned him down the first time he asked me to be his girlfriend! However after I stopped being so silly we began dating on February 21, 2012...almost 16 months ago! 

Michael is my best friend, my boyfriend, and my "soul mate" (as cliche as I really think that sounds). Nothing could ever explain how much I love him and how much he means to me. He's the person I want to be with for the rest of my life and after we go back to being the stars we are. We are preparing to move out together in August and we couldn't be more excited to prepare for adulthood together. 

And so...here I am now! A happy nineteen year old customer service representative who really is just trying to get through the day to day. I don't know where tomorrow will take me but that's okay, because wherever I end up I know that it'll be the right place for me.

What's In My Bag!

Hi guys! I've been meaning to do one of these for a while because I love "what's in my bag" posts!

I'm super excited so let's just hop in to it!

This is my bag! I was looking for a really nice girly bag for a while and was so happy that I got this one from Modern Girl Blitz. It's super cheap and high quality, I love it! Plus it can hold everything I need it to. Here's the direct link to it.

Scrumptious Blueberry Swirl

I LOVE this! Blueberry yogurt raisins, raspberry infused cranberries and blackcurrants. All soooo yummy!

Eton Mess

I love the almond slices and mini meringues! It also has blackcurrants and cranberries. Mmm.

Jaffa Cake

Who doesn't love dark chocolate? And it's good for you! Also has orange infused raisins (so yummy) and roasted hazels.

Good

Cheddar Gorge

Cheese cashews, baked herb bites and salsa corn sticks. I was reluctant to try it but after I did it went fast!

Pear Tatin

This one surprised me with how good it was! It contains pear, raspberry infused cranberries, yogurt coated sunflower seeds (SO yummy) and almonds. I was weary about the pear because I didn't like Graze's dried apples. But it was great. Yum!

Love Mix

A mix of apricots, goji berries and cherries! I LOVE cherries but the goji berries aren't so great to me.

Not For Me

Fruit and Seed Flapjack

Rustic rolled oat flapjack with mixed seeds and dried fruits. This was yummy, but I'm not much of a flapjack fan. I get sick of it too fast!

Bonnie Wee Oatbakes

Red onion marmalade with cheese and chive oatbakes. Oatbakes are just a little too try for my taste. And the marmalade was tasty, but I didn't like too much of it.

Toffee Apple

I totally thought I would love it but I was wrong! It's exactly as it sounds, A toffee dip with slices of dried granny smith apple slices. I love dried berries, but not so much apples. And the toffee was okay, it made it taste like a candy apple. It was a little too sweet to me!
